Muddy Boots Tent Hire, hires out Duke of Edinburgh Awards (DofE) expedition kits to schools in the UK. All of the kits we provide are DofE approved such as Vango Tents and Trangia Cooking Stoves. We hire DofE kit to schools for their 2 day practice expedition and their 2 day assessment expedition. We also provide instructions for erecting tents and and correctly fitting rucksacks. The DofE season is only April - mid July and very part time in those months, however, the business can be expanded into the summer months for camping etc.
How does your business make money?
We charge a rental price for each piece of kit we provide. An average school order is between £700 and £1300.
Why should someone buy this business?
We have not advertised the business for the last 2 years (due to other business commitments) but have GDPR compliant database of schools (2500) which costs just £25 per mailing.
