Business Description

We generate revenue based off advertisers as well as Adsense, plus we have established relationships with local promoters and businesses for affiliate partnerships. We average around 500 users per day with some days seeing up to 20k users.

How does your business make money?

We make money from selling ad space on our homepage, in featured events and listings and in our newsletter and social media promotions. We also make money on AdSense as well as affiliate sales on ticketed events. We rank extremely well in Google and Bing for any terms involving the South Bay, Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach, etc.

Why should someone buy this business?

The business is ripe for expansion as we've established ourselves without a real sales team. Being the dominant website in our region, there is no real competition for events promotion or calendar sites. We've had zero outside sales efforts up to this point. With a light sales push, the site could easily bring in tens of thousands in ad revenue per year.

Why are you selling this business?

My partner and I both have new, growing families and need to focus on them. The company is our pride and joy but we don't have the time necessary to devote to it.

I am the co-owner of South Bay Events. I grew up in the South Bay of Los Angeles and am intimately familiar with the area. Creating the site was a perfect match, and I'd love for it to continue on with someone who has the same level of dedication.
