Puplore.com was started in Aug 2018 from a site that was previously top10bestdogfoods.com. I rebranded and redirected the old site/domain to Puplore.com at that time.
Top10BestDogFoods.com is still being redirected and is included in the sale. The previous owner had some Quora and Reddit links that still remain and is why I have left the redirect in place.
I have not done any active link building on either domain.
Puplore has grown a lot since then but it needs a new owner that has the time and resources to continue adding new content.
Half of the existing articles were on the original site and the other half were written by professional dog owning writers.
I recently rebuilt the site using only Gutenberg (previously was build with a page builder) to increase the site speed and reduce the source code throughout the site. It passes all core web vital tests and has a 100% page experience score.
The premium license for WP Rocket, Wordfence and ShortPixel will NOT be included in the sale. I will add another caching plugin downgrade the Wordfence license to the free version prior to the transfer. The site is also currently connected to a cdn but that will be disconnected prior to the transfer as well.
How does your business make money?
The sites earns through Mediavine ads and Amazon predominately. The current traffic levels are below Mediavine's site requirement so the new owner will need to establish a new ad network to work with - most likely Ezoic unless you already have a site with Mediavine and can combine them.
I decided to sell this now before Q4 when ad earnings are the highest so you can have time to get new ads setup and earning prior to that.
I used to utilize Chewy for dog food links but recently have tested out replacing those with Amazon. So that is another avenue to explore once you take the site over.
There are two dog food articles that are reviews with nice payouts that infrequently get conversions so that is another window of opportunity to expand on.
Why are you selling this business?
I am selling PupLore because I have other sites and projects that I am the face of that are requiring more of my time and I am looking to invest the funds into an offline business.
The timing is right to sell it as I have worked hard to get articles rankings more evening than they were in the past and the earnings have been more stable because of that.
A new owner will be able to build upon that foundation and no doubt increase the traffic and earnings especially with Q4 approaching.
