How does your business make money?
Ad listing fees, banner ads/sponsored advertising, direct product selling, franchise fees. Unfortunately Paypal suspended accounts in Sept. 2019 after using them as payment processor for 6 years. As such platform has been switched to free posting model and needs a new payment processor set up.
Why should someone buy this business?
This business offers tremendous potential for the right developer or company, particularly for those within the Vaping niche. ~30k registered users & 20,000+ ads posted - with millions of visitors in the 5+ years of operation. When the appropriate amount of time was dedicated to the business (2016-17) it peaked at 1,500 unique a day and $2,000 /mo revenue. Since then then has been neglected with only bare minimum maintenance and as such experienced traffic and revenue decline. However, it still remains the leader in it's niche without any SEO or paid advertising ever completed. Established social fronts (Facebook, Twitter, IG, Pinterest and YT) along with fully owned UK franchise and independently owned South African and Italy Franchises in place. There are many options to take this business to the next level, particularly the potential to integrate an auction format. Why are you selling this business?
A year and half ago I took a full-time job that I could not pass up on. At the time I believed I could keep up with this business and keep it growing. However due to the challenges of a new job and family, I have only been able to dedicate a few hours a month to bare minimum maintenance of the business. In addition, I have a new business venture I am involved in that I would like to focus on and see to fruition. Rather then keeping this on the back burner, I would prefer to find a new owner to take this project over and give it the time it deserves.
