Business Description

Lyncconf.com is a gaming website focused on "Games like x" articles, guides and interesting articles about gaming.

We bought the business in April 2020 and started working on it in June 2020. Before we bought it, the business was making an average of $700 per month. We saw the potential there and we started creating more partnerships and contacting some of the advertisers that we know.

The results were visible right away, as only from sponsored posts - the business is now making an average of $2,018 per month for the last 9 months or $1,617 per month in the last 6 months.

The average for the last 6 months is lower because November and February were low months due to December approaching and we believe that for February the reason was American tax season which starts in March.

The good thing is that even if the business is selling sponsored posts, those are evergreen as lately we started to ask the clients to create better content posts. If someone wanted to promote his business about Destiny 2 - we’d ask him to create an article “Best Weapons in Destiny 2” - or similar ones with decent traffic and low KD (keyword difficulty).

On the other hand, there’s also ad spots monetization of the website which is bringing between $150 and $200 per month. We haven’t managed to get on Ezoic or MediaVine, but that can surely increase the website revenue. The ad spots revenue is not added in the P&L as those were used to write more articles, pay server costs, etc.

Pros of the business
- Easy to run & grow for an SEO specialist
- Stable income, can be increased if more partnerships are created
- Ad spots are generating $200 per month, can be at least 50% more if its Ezoic or MediaVine
- Over 60 evergreen articles which were improved between January and February 2021
- We haven’t done much affiliate marketing on it. The past owner had a few articles - the new owner can focus on growing affiliate income as well.

- The domain is not gaming related

How does your business make money?

Selling sponsored posts between $150 and $300. We prefer to have a higher price so that we attract less advertisers but have a higher income. The new owner could change that easily by accepting posts at $100 or even below and increase the income right away.

Ad spots - $150-$200 per month - which we used to write more articles and improve the current ones. The new owner can be free to sell those spots to individual businesses or try affiliate with G2A, Fanatical, etc.

Value Impression - The site makes around $150 from Value Impression ad network.

Amazon Affiliate - The income from this is not even worth mentioning due to the fact that the 4-5 articles that the website was ranking for were neglected by us.

Why are you selling this business?

I own this site with a partner of mine and we both wish to sell because we are working on bigger sites doing at least $5k+ per month.
