Business Description

CleanSnap was created in 2016, the web based application is used by cleaning companies looking for new construction projects.

Cleaning companies that subscribe are able to view bidding and active construction projects with project details.

30,000 lines of code have been written in the application and those lines are stored in Github.

The application can be easily duplicated for other construction trades, i.e, painting, drywall, or flooring.

The most valuable part of the application is the code and the API license to import the construction data. The API license needs to be purchased annually to get the data to display.

The application is a tool to view bidding and in progress construction projects .

We removed the option to buy CleanSnap from the website in late 2019.

The owner developed another software that created a conflict of interest with CleanSnap.

We tried to transfer CleanSnap users to the new software, but the users were not satisfied with the new application at the time. CleanSnap was more useful to them, and the users I pushed out were accustomed to CleanSnap.

Recommendations for 10x plan:

  1. Develop more marketing articles to drive traffic to the site, i.e (how to find cleaning jobs, how to win construction projects)

  2. Duplicate CleanSnap into other niche applications in construction. There are two parts of this business, the wordpress site and the custom application.

How does your business make money?

CleanSnap makes money by charging customers to use its cloud construction market data. We provide a way to find new customers to accelerate sales in construction. Companies subscribe and we are paid through Stripe.

Why are you selling this business?

Conflict of interest with another business. The owner is developing IntelConstruct and i do not want to maintain or grow or see cleansnap users. I want to stop working with cleaning companies.
