Business Description

Back2Grad was founded in December 2018 to solve a critical need in the grad student on-boarding process, connecting new students before getting on campus and providing staff an outlet to post all necessary information for new students.

We signed up 5 graduate schools for yearly subscriptions in 2019, and 4 of them renewed for 2020 (80% renewal rate). So far, 2 of those 4 have renewed again for 2021, with the other 2 set to renew in the next few months. We also have a couple warm leads for new subscriptions, with 1 customer very interested and likely to subscribe for 2021.

We've revamped the software to easily add new graduate schools with no additional coding needed.

We've also added the ability for apartments to easily post new listings, significantly increasing the ability to generate advertising revenue.

We have a registered trademark for "Back2grad" with the USPTO.

I will provide a thorough overview of the software and functionality and get everything setup for you to jump right in and start selling subscriptions.

How does your business make money?

We make money from selling yearly subscriptions to University graduate programs and from selling advertising space to apartment buildings located near the Universities.

Why are you selling this business?

I am selling because my "Head of Sales" co-founder took a lucrative consulting job and can no longer manage the software sales. With 2 young children, I am not able to put in the time needed to sell and grow the subscription customer base.
