This is a French website which provides product rankings and reviews. Visitors come on the website in order to find information before buying products.
How does your business make money?
The website generates revenue through the Amazon Affiliate Program. We earn a commission every time people use our links to buy products on Amazon.
Why should someone buy this business?
VALUE FOR MONEY:
We sell this business on the basis of current profits (around $4K/month) but it used to make around $11K profit/month last year.
The website requires little work to keep the same level of revenue (only to update some articles and to replace broken links).
Scalable business to other countries!
Moreover, good SEO & SEM strategies would quickly result in a previous revenue level (and even more) We lost a lot of revenue because of a bad SEO specialist.
100% of the traffic generated is organic. I never used paid ads.
How can the future owner improve this business?
The main thing to do would be to correct the SEO mistakes which made us lose most of our revenue. We don't have the knowledge to do it ourselves (and we don't want to trust another SEO agency again). But, if you can do it, you can quickly improve the website's revenue.
The website only has affiliate links, but no ads. You can probably increase the revenue by adding ads.
We didn't do any marketing yet (no mailing list, no social media...). You can grow the website by improving this.
Why are you selling this business?THE FULL STORY: I launched Testsetconseils.com early 2018. Everything was going better than expected. I was earning around $12K profit/month in August 2018 and all the metrics were growing. In order to further improve the business, I decided to trust a SEO specialist in September 2018. That's when everything went wrong. Every link on Google gave a "Not found 404" error, many pages were considered duplicates of themselves, and I had to take down the website for almost one week... In the end, the website lost a lot of its traffic. Since then, I avoided SEO and mostly created new content to improve the website. But content alone wasn't enough. Today, I'm selling the website because I don't have the SEO knowledge to improve the situation myself. Furthermore, I don't find in me to trust another SEO agency.
