About the Seller
I retired from the USAF in 2010 after 21 years as a Navigator flying on the KC-135 Stratotanker....I passed gas for a living! Only I did it at closure speeds of 800 mph and at an altitude of 25,000 ft! I have always loved airplanes and enjoyed flying control line models as a kid with my Dad. While on active duty I played around with electric foamies but never had a Giant Scale gasser until I met Tim and Redwing RC. I have always wanted to own my own my own RC hobby shop so when Redwing RC was up for sale, I fulfilled my dream. Now I have a means to fund my habit (I mean hobby) of buying airplanes and helping other pilots with their RC dreams. Did you know it is actually 2 separate hobbies--The hobby of buying RC airplanes and the hobby of flying RC airplanes!
