Business Description

A leading site offering info on math, math calculators, known as the official site for Pi Day for 17 years. Has useful guides, deals, calculators and content to help people with math. Widely used by teachers and students.

Has 35,000 engaged FB fans. 15,000 keyword rankings, top 2 for "pi"

Huge traffic from the calculators and 3000 a month for raspberry pi article we wrote (which makes $200 a month). New content ranks easily.

Also has an android app which has not been monetized.

Has links from usatoday and many huge authorities yet never had any seo done to it at all.

How does your business make money?

The site makes money from AdSense and an ad network newordmedia. Also banner space when we tried it.

It also now makes $250 a month from a single article we added on raspeberry pi via amazon affiliates.

Why should someone buy this business?

Site is DA 65, gets huge traffic. Is linked to constantly without trying. New content ranks very well including commercial content (see raspberry pi articles). The site makes solid income passively growing month on month. In May the site should have made $13,000 but was down due to too much traffic for half the month. I can prove this in GSC.

Potential to add commercial guides, deals for Pi day, affiliate products, more content, and rankings. To build out for other terms.

We have never sold a guest post but we get around 5-10 guest post requests per DAY who would pay and build content for us. The site ranks top for "pi day deals" where people look for deals and coupons.

A site sponsor could bring in $$$$ easily, we have really only monetized with ads so far. When we add content it ranks immediately, even for terms in the 100,000 exacts then after 3 months move top 10 and top 3 very often.

Simply the most stable site I have owned in 20 years online and reluctant sale.

How can the future owner improve this business?

social media, we have 35,000 FB fans
more content and as such more traffic (content ranks easily)
Selling ads and sponsorship
Guest posts could make $1k+ per month if we took them
setting up a deals section for math products (we get asked for math deals a lot from schools)
Setting up an area for schools
Redesign, it could be modernized
Selling products using Amazon affiliates (raspberry pi article ranks high and sells $300 of product per day oftentimes)

Why are you selling this business?

Honestly, I need the money to invest in my Amazon FBA business. I hate to sell this but I could scale my money there faster, although this site would likely pay out for life and is growing month on month,
