Business Description
Inspector Pages was launched in 2013 and since then moved a couple of owners since I took over a few years ago.
It has a few built-in templates that customers use and they can technically load custom templates as well.
It's a very hands-off business in terms of supporting existing customers but it needs work to improve the onboarding experience to retain trial users and also get the word out there. Day to day is just dealing with some technical issues clients might have (just a handful a YEAR) and DNS stuff which we moved to CloudFlare to make it easy.
It's really a great business that we just hadn't had time to focus on.
The BIGGEST potential is to sell other marketing services - SEO, PPC, blogging, etc - we haven't touched it and that's really where this business should be growing.
At its peak years ago it had over 900 subscribers and now it has about 23.
When we were active on Mailchimp and blogging we got a big lift in traffic and subscribers but we dropped our activity in those channels.
The business comes with a WPEngine account, ZenDesk account and a Mailchimp (1,038 subscribers) account with all historical subscribers.
How does your business make money?
Monthly/quarterly subscriptions.
Why are you selling this business?
Focused on bigger projects and can't put in the time to grow this and give good customer service.
