Business Description

The website dropships products from AliExpress directly to the customers. I.e. suppliers will ship the products straight to our customers meaning there is no need to keep inventory. So we take care of the marketing and customer care while the suppliers take care of the products and shipping.

The website is as automated as possible: orders are fulfilled automatically, keeping track of inventory changes, keeping track of price changes and sending tracking codes to customers once available. So the core workflow consists of marketing and customer care seeing as those are the only non-automated items.

The website comes with an existing Facebook page and Instagram account both of which have barely been used.

How does your business make money?

We make money by selling products to customers at a higher price than we pay to suppliers, ie commerce. Due to the dropshipping model, there is no need to keep inventory and thus little overhead and the products have a very nice profit margin. (on average between 2,5x ā€“ 4x) The business model is easy, very scalable and profitable due to the high margins.

Why are you selling this business?

The 2 main reasons for selling the website are that 1. I have neither the time nor the resources to properly manage this website right now which feels like a waste cause the website is not living up to its potential right now. 2. I need some cash for another venture, so I would rather liquidate this asset rather than continue to maintain it. For the right price, Iā€™d rather sell the website and give someone else the opportunity to reap the rewards than just let it stand idle.
