Business Description

MyStepStool.com is a business operating in the Home and Garden industry, selling high quality step stools through our website, which are drop shipped directly from the manufacturer. The site is 14 years old and generates all of it's traffic organically. This presents as a great opportunity for an astute marketer to build upon a strong base following. REF P&L in attachments section below.

How does your business make money?

We make money from selling the products we offer online.

Why should someone buy this business?

This site has been up and running for 14 years! Four of those years saw sales over $300k/year.

100% drop ship.

If you have any marketing experience or the desire to learn, this business is an amazing opportunity. It's been profitable since day one, which was back in June of 2005.

If you want to make money from home and work when you want to, then this is the perfect business for you. You can operate it from just about anywhere, anytime.

If you want a business where you can grow sales back to a proven level and beyond, this is for you.

How can the future owner improve this business?

Market. I have never done any marketing aside from a few payperclicks years ago. My sales came strictly from organic rankings. That changed around the same time my interests changed. I've been in e-commerce since 2000 and am simply burned out. I've never sold on Amazon, eBay, Facebook, Etsy. Selling on other platforms will increase sales. New buyer can also add different products.

Why are you selling this business?

I've built and operated 20+ e-commerce sites since 2000. I've sold them all and have made the decision to sell my final one because I have been burned out for a while now. My interests just have completely changed and I do not have the skill set to maximize growth. I want to see this business go to someone who has the passion and the skill set to grow the sales back to what they use to be (and higher). This business has served me very well; it was the easiest money I ever made - and probably ever will make-and I found it very fulfilling for many years.

I built my first ecommerce site the year my first child was born. That was 18 years ago and that child is now heading to college! I've owned/operated more than 20 sites since. I had a passion for creating the websites and sourcing the products to sell and it allowed me to stay home with my kids and earn a good living.
