Cheers Balloons sells party supplies such as foil balloons, latex balloons, DIY kit tassels, confetti, party banners, party plates and paper straws. The party supply industry is booming and the demand for high-quality products is increasing. More and more people celebrate their events like birthdays, baby showers and corporate events, with high-quality balloons and eye-catching decorations! We have approx. 1500 subscribers on Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/cheersballoons/) and an established Facebook presence (https://www.facebook.com/cheersballoonsofficial/).

How does your business make money?

We sell on Etsy and drive traffic to our store using advertising. We add new products on a monthly basis. 90% of our customers are in the US and Canada. Our average order value is $15 and we average 150-400 orders per month. Our average profit margin is 25%. Our business model is low risk, sustainable and safe, allowing an annual growth of a minimum of 20%. Our average revenue was $4,500 per month when we were operating from Canada.

The future owner can scale this business by adding new marketplaces places such as Amazon and eBay and further developing the website to include an eCommerce store. They could also increase distribution and advertising channels to include Facebook, Instagram, SEO, Google AdWords and affiliate marketing. Revenue could be doubled or tripled in this regard. The future owner could also add further revenue source by expanding the B2B component of the business by offering event services to companies. Services could be priced at $100-500, excluding product cost. The future owner could undertake email marketing to our 7000 email subscribers as well as remarketing. Why are you selling this business?

My husband got a job he couldn't refuse in Asia, and we had to move in November 2017. Our customers are mostly from the US and Canada, and despite the distance, we still tried to continue the business from Asia, but delivery time and shipping fees being too high, the business slowed down and we believe it would make much more sense for someone located in the US or Canada to take over this prosperous business and scale it up to the level it deserves! This business is really hard for me to let go, but I need to move on and hand it over to someone in the US or Canada and look into other opportunities here in Asia. I will be happy to provide all the insights and the necessary training to assure a healthy and proper handover to the new owner of Cheers Balloons.
