Business Description

Shoppe (https://www.shoppewith.me) is a Software as a Service (SaaS) business that provides a storefront solution to retailers who sell products for multi-level marketing companies. Founded in 2016 in the United States, this business, which enjoys an annual revenue of $307,296, has tools that capture sales from Facebook groups and pages. Brands can use Shoppe to build and launch marketing strategies that sell products to new customers.
The business comprises and our asking price includes:
1. Our main storefront software which facilitates online sales via party links (popups), sales through Facebook albums, sold comment tracking, product giveaways, sales promotions and deal sign-ups, inventory management, customer email and SMS lists, email and SMS marketing.
2. An SMS messaging, email messaging and sales funnel building app.
3. A Facebook lifestream eCommerce iOS/Android app which captures sales from the live stream and generates orders automatically.

How does your business make money?

We make money from selling subscriptions to our tools.

Why should someone buy this business?

We are in the midst of a social-selling revolution. As a result, the market for this kind of software is large and customers are very easy to find. It is one of the highest potential word-of-mouth niches in the industry due to the nature of how multi-level marketing companies are structured. Impress one customer and they recommend you to their entire team! In 2016 I started this business as a way to help 15 local boutiques better manage their businesses. Within 9 months we had hit $1M ARR and were off to the races. It was my first business venture and we did zero marketing to grow it because our lead generation came from word-of-mouth referrals. Shoppe has unfortunately never had the marketing strategy applied to it that it deserves. We have tried various different tactics but never truly understood how to market a Saas effectively. Our revenues have therefore declined since mid-2017. Someone experienced in marketing and sales could have great success with Shoppe.

How can the future owner improve this business?

The future owner can improve the product's ability to integrate with Facebook, and better serve the current social selling revolution. We have done hardly any marketing which has been our greatest downfall. Competitors in this niche are also not marketing their businesses effectively.

We've built a cutting edge Facebook Live streaming app that allows boutiques to run their own "QVC" style live streams that show product info on the screen, respond to user comments with a chatbot, and track orders/inventory on the fly during the live stream. This is a huge up-and-coming market that I believe could become a $100M-$1B product if put in the right hands. There is no competition in the market as of right now and this app is fully functional.

Why are you selling this business?

I am selling Shoppe because I've taken the business as far as I can. Shoppe needs a more experienced stakeholder to come in and apply sound marketing and product strategy to it to take it to the next level. We have several new products that haven't been launched yet because of our inability to execute on a coherent marketing strategy.
